What the patch tutorial covers

It covers the same ground as Your first design, in real time:

• Getting around the workspace: canvas, toolbar and side panel.
• Bringing the artwork in as a reference image to draw over.
• Drawing the design by hand with the pen and shape tools.
• Assigning stitch types: satin columns, fills and running stitch.
• Choosing real thread colours and setting the colour order.
